Math had the highest percentage of test takers for the 23-24 SY (above English and Science) with 96.17% of students tested. This is also above the desired threshold of 95%.

The slight dip in scores from 22-23 to 23-24 on the CAST seems to be a slight slide from Level 3 (Meets Standards) to Level 2 (Nearly Meets Standards).

Last year (23-24) we had the highest percentage of level 4 students (exceeding standards) documented. Also, this percentage has increased every year since COVID.

Release Detailed Data To Teachers

Jen Martin has stated that the district has but refuses to release detailed CAST scores to teachers. If we want to increase these scores we need to see specifically what topics we are weak in so we can improve on specific standards.
