I think that trhough social media teenagers are able to communicate easily and whenever they want,thus socializing more often and in some case for longer periods of time

I believe that social media make the communication faster and easier. Especially for teenagers that are familiar with the new technologies can receive many benefits from the good use of social media. They can interact with people from all over the world and contact with many different civilisations and cultures. As a result they broaden their horizons. However, it should be mentioned the possibility of becoming addicted that it is also exists and it can seriously harm the teenager's psychology.

Along with the rapid increase of social media use, this kind of communication has brought about numerous effects. More specifically, more and more people and especially youngsters use social media as their main way of communication as it is easy, extremely fast and completely free. For instance, someone can text a person that lives thousands of kilometers away. Furthermore, users can communicate anonymously, if they would rather not share their physical characteristics. Yet this kind of anonymity can hide numerous dangers such as a person pretending to be the same age as you, only to access information and pictures of you. Another drawback is social media being a usual source of cyber bullying so this kind of communication has to unitized properly, concerning all possible hazards.
