Hiring expectations for December fell much shorter than expected. 50,000 jobs were added in the U.S. showing a drop from the 64,000 in previous months. The unemployment rate also dropped to 4.4%, being 4.6% in the month previous and while the unemployment rate is still lower than it has been historically, it's raised from previous all-time lows. The average number of jobs added each month in 2025 was 49,000, dropping significantly from the 168,000 rate in 2024.

They ended up winning 31-27 but Ole Miss fans and viewers around the world are angry about the referees not calling a pass-interference on the last play of the game by Ole Miss to win the whole thing.

This has sparked outrage amongst Americans and has not assisted in the already unfavorable opinion of ICE. On Wednesday the 7th, an ICE officer fatally shot 37-year-old Renee Good, who was attempting to run over law enforcement officers when the ICE officer shot her that morning. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem claimed it was an "act of domestic terrorism" and argued that the vehicle was a deadly weapon. But the Minnesota governor and Minneapolis mayor put an end to those claims, because according to videos, the victim wasn't driving her car toward the agent or using it as a weapon.

On Wednesday ICE shot and killed a 37 year old woman. This is very inhumane and more violent than most immigration companies have been in the past. Trumps statement on this was that she ran over the ICE agent and that he was even surprised the agent was still alive. In the video you can see that the agent is barely grazed by the car, which naturally wont cause any harm. ICE is getting out of control and needs to lower their violence because this is just one of many harmful things they have done.

She was on the way to her bus stop located in Sunnyvale in 1982, when she was sexually assaulted as well as stabbed over 50 times. 35 years later they have found the killer. Ramirez, the killer, was sentenced to 25 years of prison for murder. Sexually assaulted wasn't added to his time in prison though.

After an opening agreement for the FBI to join forces with the state agencies over the case, federal officials changed course and blocked the state from joining the FBI's investigation. Concerns with the Trump administration were that state agents couldn't be trusted with possible information included in the case, and that ICE agents' safety could be in jeopardy. The doubt and suspicion between state officials and federal agents go both ways, with Minnesota calling the ICE officer involved "reckless."
