1- practice active listening, 2- never argue, 3- depersonalize quickly, 4- evaluate it slowly, 5- be mindful (explore where you can stop/start critiqued behaviors)

Also understanding that feedback is simply DATA to help IMPROVE. It's not meant to be hurtful or illicit pain/bad feelings. We need to practice being in the mindset of giving and receiving feedback!

Simplify. Take out some of the unnecessary "extras" and focus more on our lessons and direct time with our students.

- Cultivation of positive internal experience

Self awareness can connect to self consciousness which in turn can lead to self regulation. Helping students see they have the power to do this can help in a lot of different areas.
