The Late Devonian Era took place directly after the Early Devonian Era. During this period the Cladoselache shark incarnation first appeared. It had the body shape the resembled more of what a modern shark looked like.  It was 6 feet long with a streamlined body, 5-7 gil slits and dorsal fins.  The Cladoselache shark would have to adapt to having an inflexible jaw. The Stethancantus shark also has an anvil like spiky fin. The Stethancantus shark has a headgear that appears as a brush. The Goblin sharks has a flabby body, a tail, and a shovel like snout. The Early Cenozoic Era began 60 million years ago. During this period the Megalodon was located in most regions of the ocean. The Megalodon is 65 feet in length and weighs 30 tons. The Megalodon relies on warmer waters and had to try to adapt to a drop in temperature.
