         <description><![CDATA[<div>419.2-358.9 MYA&nbsp;<br>Cladoselache shark&nbsp;<br>The Late Devonian Era took place directly after the Early Devonian Era. During this period the Cladoselache shark incarnation first appeared. It had the body shape the resembled more of what a modern shark looked like.&nbsp; It was 6 feet long with a streamlined body, 5-7 gil slits and dorsal fins.&nbsp; The Cladoselache shark would have to adapt to having an inflexible jaw. This shark lived in freshwater.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

The Stethacantus shark is 3 feet long and weighs about 10-20 pounds. The Stethancantus shark also has an anvil like spiky fin. The Stethancantus shark has a headgear that appears as a brush. The Stethancantus shark adapted to this by scaring away predators with this headgear.</div>]]></description>

The Hexanchiforms shark was located around different oceans worldwide. The Hexanchiformes has 6 to 7 gills and one dorsal fin. The Hexanchiformes has no nictitating membrane which is an extra layer of eye protection. The Hexanchiformes had to adapt to this by being taking extra cautious without the extra eye protection.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
