I would like to get to know all of you and what you would like to see me (if elected) implement as the Speaker of the Assembly of the YL program. Please tell me your name, one fun fact about you, and what you, as a YL, hope your speaker of the assembly will do to represent you. A fun fact about me is that you can bet a million bucks that anyone who pronounces my name for the first time will pronounce it incorrectly. A teacher once thought my name was pronounced Syria and asked me why I was named after a country. I am good with people pronouncing my name Shree-yah. One thing I want to represent all of you as the Speaker of The Assembly (if elected) is foster communication amongst all YLs and include your voice in all procedures (which is why I am experimenting with new technology like this one).
