It affected a few states going from Tennessee, Alabama, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida. the way it effected the earth was when all the water came in it destroyed riverbanks, towns, buildings, and roads causing it for people not be able to leave or for first responders to access hurt people.

The way we will treat an event like this from now on is to let the weather do whatever it's gonna do and make better and new plans to protect the places where its most likely for it to happen. places where it mostly wont happen have some type of way to have a protection for if it happens.

The sad part of this earth made event is the fact that it killed about 219 people and swept away so many house's and business, and so much more. The few states that it did hit, they weren't prepared for a event such as this. the rivers did not have the water capability and the dam's couldn't hold the weight. everything just went.
