The cheapest way to live is in a place called “the Stacks”(pgs 20-22) in the cities.  These are a bunch of trailers stacked one on top of the other. The article said there are more children working to help with income for the family.  A number of people who are below the poverty line are working and they are going to school so that they can have a possibility of getting a job that pays better.
