I got over 30 photographs, and shared them with the white house. This raised a lot of awareness about the war. Most people had no idea what the war was really like. With the pictures they saw mutilated bodies and other gruesome scenes like that. I spent all my money to try to get photographing equipment. Nobody realized how profitable photography was. My dad was an artist, and taught me how to make my pictures look nice. I could make 3 to 5 dollars a photo. At the time that was a decent living and I had a good life. They wouldn't listen to the north and just kept having slaves. As this escalated, the Civil War started. Most of these events happened when I was still a kid though, so I don't remember them that well.
