The park was a project realized by old major Virgílio Galassi, that would possess a forest reserve, a zoo, a stadium and a playground. The park possess an area of 1.8 milion meters squares and a woodland with 350 thousand meters squares. The park arrives to receive 10 thounsand visitors in one day; this number increases on Saturdays e Mondays arriving in 25 thousand visitors.

The park has several attractions like: a hiking trail of 5.100 meters of extension, seven camps of football with different measures, five sports courts, a playground, and others installations. Besides having several events. There also present the reservoir.

And It’s main intension was to preserve the fauna and to disclose the importance of preserving the environment.
