Their job was to spot boats in distress at sea and to help refugees who were fleeing abuses in their home countries. Sarah and Seán ended up in prison charged with spying, people smuggling and belonging to a criminal organization. They spent more than 100 days in prison before being released on bail in December 2018. Their case is still under investigation. When it closes, a Greek judicial body will decide whether to send them to trial. Human rights defenders are locked up just for expressing their opinions.  Protestors  are arrested and sent to prison, but you can do something about it! You can write a letter to ask for their release. Your letters, words and actions will put pressure on decision-makers to take immediate action. With your help, governments will be held to account. Prisoners of conscience will be released and more people will be free to live their lives in safety.

By doing that the police listed them under the same category with actual criminals while all they did was try to get governments to help save the planet. The difference between them is that “Climate Camp’s” protestors were peaceful without doing anything illegal-with just music being played. On the other hand, the bank’s protestors tried to set the bank on fire, threw missiles, stole computer equipment and more illegal actions. Moreover, with the kettle, police has breached a great number of their rights such as the “no unfair detainment” right, the right for freedom to move and for freedom of expression.

The one was about banks which had mismanaged money while the other had to do with the climate change. In the first case the protesters were really violent. However, in the second one they were peaceful. In my view the police shouldn't have kettled the protesters of the climate change demonstration. I believe that because they took away some of their human rights such as the 13th right (freedom to move) and the 19th one (freefom of expression). The first one was violent , so the police kettled its protesters . The other one was very peaceful, but the police kettled them , too. In my opinion, the police was right because they kettled both sides in order to keep the peace  and protect both the protesters of climate change and the Londoners.After all, protecting people was their job.
