This post exemplifies social recognition, specifically from islam worshippers that gathered at Al-Aqsa Mosque. The main elements of recognition are seen through what this gathering meant: a group of people who all identify with the same religion, making then a Nation (or part of the Islam Nation). At the same time, freedom is an element: the freedom of ability to make religious gatherings and pray. The theory that most resonates is what is proposed by Axel Honneth and his theory of recognition. According to him, recognition is actively and constantly practiced by societies and communities: them recognizing themselves as part of a group and as different form others. At the same time, recognition is within one self. What the islam community does is to recognize themselves and their equals as what they are; with this comes respect and even love.

This post shows social recognition of the Palestinian people and their cultural identity through the promotion of resources of knowledge now that the conflict between Israel and Hamas has arisen. Some of the principal elements of social recognition are the acknowledgment and validation of the presence, identity, and contribution of Palestine and its history through different research materials. It also vizualizes their cultural heritage by giving them a voice since they represent a minority as a autonomous entity that has not been accepted from the international community. As Charles Taylor points out in politics of equal dignity, the human dignity should be recognize and the equal rights that all human beings deserve. In context of the situation in Israel, a lot of information has been spread, incluiding fake news and distorted information; this type of post not only use social media as a instrument to inform the rest of the population, they also are aware that they’re contribuiting to buildup peace around the world.

Far right Wing Protesters fight against police

The TikTok video shows a situation where Far-right Wing Protesters are clashing with the police on November 11th, 2023.

The conflict is attributed to the Far-right Wing Protesters' opposition to Palestine protesters who are disrupting the Cenotaph, a war memorial. Far-right protesters: they fight to protect the cenotaph, a symbol of their cause and identity. In doing so, they demand recognition of their beliefs and the importance of honoring war veterans.

Palestinian protesters: They demand recognition of their support for Palestinians and their opposition to Israeli actions. Their chants and their presence at the protest are a way of asserting their identity and seeking recognition of their cause. Both groups are negotiating their identities through their actions and interactions in the protest. Both groups demand recognition of their rights and their respective causes. Protesters on both sides can emphasize their unique characteristics and abilities while participating in the conflict. Fraser's theory distinguishes between cultural recognition and economic redistribution as dimensions of justice. Cultural recognition is evident in protesters' efforts to have their cultural and political identities recognized and respected.
