And there are many controversies also. Some of the common ones are:
Weathering: the rocks start to erode due to air, water, or movement from one place to another.
Deposition: when a dust particle goes and sits on a rock, it starts to harden in time which again causes the Earth to change.
Earthquakes: this natural disaster can also be the main reason. The tectonic plates start to shift which causes the rocks and surface to move.
