To come up with a definition according to the Habermas' definition cited in Nancy Fraser's article (1990) is necessary to mention that the public sphere it's commonly recognized as one of the important elements to understand and to construct the social-political democracy. This assumption because the public sphere references to the space designed to discuss State affairs trough conversational interaction between parts. The parts immerse in this discursive interaction, profit this space to deliberate about critical issues concerning the political and social state of the State. In that order of ideas is possible to understand that the public sphere opens the door to cultural and educational considerations that improve the good development, acknowledgement and participation in the real democracy. As Belabbes Benkredda says the main conclusion of this theory could be that ''getting democracy right is getting the public sphere right'' and that is a right that potentially comprises every human right by giving the opportunity to debate and vote to every member of the State, the ones that have always spoken and to those that never have been heard. A good example of this (in my personal experience) are the named ''Juntas de Acción Comunal'' and a cultural space that congregates specially young people from my neighborhood but that also opens the door to every member in the community interested in discuss important issues about the neighborhood state and general life.

Public Sphere is an a ideal tool to involve all citizens and exercise the democratic process. However, it can be found that certain spheres have more representation and power in the decisions made by the State.

Public spheres have a huge relevancy when it comes to democracy, this is why there should be more spaces that are actually public where people can gather together every number of days and speak freely their views of the society in a much easier way and approach so the sphere actually becomes truly public.

The public sphere can also be seen as a bridge that links individuals and society through a common interest. A problema of the public sphere is that not everyone is listened as expected because people with power lead the ideas among it. In the history, coloured people, women and por people have been silenced, marginalized, oppresed. They haven't been able to express their thoughts and concerns based upon what they have been through.

Habermas idea of what is a public sphere stresses that is a space where some specific citizens of a community reflect about common interest or public concerns. This state’s information is accessible to the society, so they have the chance to critic by the pubic opinion. According to this author there exist four main characteristics of an ideal public sphere: 1. There exist a bracket in this spaces where everyone is equal; 2. Its better to have just one public sphere that multiple for promoting democracy; 3. The discourse in public spheres is always about the common goods and 4. That a good democracy policy requires a separation between the civil society and state. However, we could see that these characteristics are not carry out in the practice. Habermas public sphere is a space of exclusion, power for just a few, person (mostly white men) that take the decision and create societies realities. As a result those groups that were exclude create their own counter public sphere, spaces where they share some characteristics like their gender, ethnic, sexual orientation. This counter public spheres create by those minority groups let them create their own reality and memories, and allowed the to be a apart of the public.

I think that if we want to create a counter public spheres to analyze and debate about current issues in our society its necessary to put into practice (or even try) Habermas 4 characteristics; at looking others as equals, appreciating and respecting their stories, believes an the way social groups see reality. We need to understand that the way of seeing Colombian’s conflict depends on the group because as we are different one an other, we experiences that conflict in different ways, depending in which context did we born, how we were raised, etc.
