This lasts longer than sensory memory. It supports learning by allowing temporary storage and rehearsal of information. This is essential for understanding concepts and transferring knowledge to long-term memory.</p><p><br/></p><p>Long-Term Memory: We keep most of our memories in long-term memory. Long-term memory stores information for extended periods, ranging from hours to a lifetime. It holds knowledge, experiences, and skills that we have acquired over time.
