        Students mentioned that phones play an important role in their schools and daily life. In schools, they usually use phones to do information searching, tests, videos watching. They use phones for entertainment, contact, social hand-out and study. So today,  I believe phones are actually necessities to all the students. Phones help them be connected to the world, and they almost can replace computers.

#2: We Want Games!
In the interview, students say it is boring when they keep learning and taking notes in class. They expressed their expectation for more interesting content in the class study.         One student comes up with this comment when I ask her if she believes technology makes the study more interesting and effective. The aspect she mentioned here is what I never thought before. I believe technology can help students save more time and master more study material, however, technology also distract students in classes. But I did not realize that technology can be a perfect study method for digital learner students and visual learners. They can explore knowledge best with the help of technology.

Games
       I never expect that high school students still would like to get games involved in their class. In my memory, high schools are places in which students are busy on understand knowledge and social actives that help them apply colleagues. But students said that if teachers related the class with games that could motivate them to study with passion and interest.

Phones
        From this interview, I notice that most American students are encouraged to use technology to do their homework, group work and search for information. I never expected that phones play such an important role in classrooms. Students can watch videos, search information, have quizzes, eat. Even though not every school is capable provide 1:1 technology devices for students, students have their own smartphone or tablet to assist their study.

Cultural difference!
  According to my interview, and my personal experience. Technology in Chinese class mostly used for the whole class not individual students, except in technology lab. Phones and tablet are banned in schools because schools believe they would distract students’ study attention. Teachers would use technology such as projector smart boards to display their teaching. Compared to PCs or Desktops, they are portable and have similar functions. Once If schools don’t have enough technology for each student in the class, students can take their own one. As teachers, in-class teaching, we should be familiar with the technology tool cooperation so that we can use it creatively and effectively to attract students’ interest and attention.

Moreover, know the trend and know our students well before class designing.
