         <title> Afrodite of Milos</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div> <br>Afrodite of Milos is a well Known marble statue of 150-50 EG that was found in 1820 in Milos.  It is displayed at the museum of Louvre . Afradite of Milos is one of the most  impressive works of  art of age of its age.  It was made by Agisandros or Alexander of Antioxia.  In the image displayed at  the left of the page we see that the golden ratio was used in the sculpture because the navel separates the sculpture in extreme and mean ratio.          <description><![CDATA[<div><br></div><div>Karyatid is a sculpture that has a feminine appearance and was used as a column for building. The word Karyatida in ancient Greece means daughter from a town near Sparta. Her classic appearance is wearing tunics . Karyatids were made with Parthenonas by Fideas (421-407 B.C). Because of him golden ratio is symbolized with the letter φ . Karyatids have golden ratio because the navel seperates the sculpture in extreme and mean ratio. Geometry was part in his life. In 1503-1519 Da Vinci created one of the most mysterious paintings, Mona Lisa. Mona Lisa is designed based on golden ratio. Her face fits in a golden rectagle and the distance from the top of her head to her fingers divided by the distance from the chin  to her fingers is φ=1.618. The use of the golden ratio is his paintings, such as Last Supper, has been observed by scientists. Last Supper is in Milan, at the  monastery of Santa Maria Delle Grazie. In this painting the table is designed in a golden rectangle.  As scientists say the dimensions  of the room and the windows of the room form a golden rectangle.  Also it is said that the escape point of the painting is the right eye of Jesus.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The Venus of Milos<br><br></div><div>The venus of Milous is a very known marble statue made in the end of Hellenistic – beginning of the Roman  era (150-50 B.C). It was found in 1820 in a rural area in Greece  island named Milos and end up a year later in Louvre Museum  where it is until today. It is carved in Parian marble, which is the same marble as the pediments’ marble of Rarthenon, and has a height of 2.02 m. In the venus of Milos the Golden Ration applies. If we divide the the length head-navel to the length head-breast is 1.681.  If we divide the  length head-Knee  to the length head-breast is 1.681. <br><br>We hope that one day  will return back to Greece.<br>Petros-Dimoklia-Nektaria- spiros<br><br></div>]]></description>

In the duration of that century Greek  become wide known for their beautiful creations in art and architecture like Parthenon. He used for example the golden ratio in his masterpiece, The Sacrament of the Last Supper. The dimensions of the canvas are a golden rectangle. Τhe table is placed exactly on the golden section of the table width. A huge dodecahedron,  there is above and behind Jesus. Dodecahedron  has 12  regural pentagons.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Κariatids are female-sculpted sculptures which are used for decorative support on gates etc. The word Kariatis in ancient greek, means the daughter from karya (a city near Sparti). Kariatids have their hands free while their weight rests lightly with the head. They wear simply veils and sleeves. Their hands are on the sides and downwords while sometimes in one hand they are holding a tribute.There were six on Parthenon .  five of themare in musem of Acropolis . The sixth has been taken to British Muesum.
