The Triceratops was a large herbivore and the T-rex was a very large carnivore. Triceratops were believed to travel in groups. Meanwhile the Tyrannosaurus rex was a solo hunter.

It is believed that dinosaurs mated internally. However, the embryo developed externally inside an egg. Evidence suggest a cloaca had to be present in dinosaurs. Visual and vocal behaviors is what helped to attract mates. Three to six months is how long it was believed for the embryos to hatch out.

The Tyrannosaurus rex along with many other carnivores were bipedal. Meaning they walked with two legs. This built helped them move quicker to catch prey. Most of the herbivores like the sauropod dinosaur moved on all four legs. It made grazing and long travels easier for them to handle.

Dinosaurs went extinct approximately 65 million years ago. Most died due to the huge meteorite that crashed on earth. Disease also killed out a lot of dinosaurs. Those two factors caused the rest to die of starvation. However, scientists believe non-avian dinosaurs evolved into modern day birds.

Many thrived along the sides of ancient rivers and streams. Herbivores felt safer when in open plains because, they could escape for predators easier.

Studies have proven that all dinosaurs hatched from eggs. Dinosaurs would travel to breeding grounds where they would lay clutches of eggs. The mothers were believed to be extremely protective over their nests. It is still uncertain if all the dinosaurs guarded their nested or left after laying. Recent fossils have provided evidence that after hatching the young traveled in groups to find their mothers.
