Even though we only have to communicate with students every other week, I have them on a weekly habit. So every Tuesday I post a prompt on the announcements. If I don't hear from them by Thursday, I text them and start to nag. I know that may not work for others, but with my TMT, I get most my kids by Tues. and Wed. I find that when I save things to record later, I feel more disorganized and I forget what I have recorded etc. I also use Google Voice. I prefer to do it right when I get home from work because then I get busy in the evening with dinner, kids and tutoring. But that's me. I also notice when I using the same feedback over and over as an opportunity to create my announcement based off of that problem!
