         <description><![CDATA[<div>Servant Leadership was created by Robert Greenleaf in 1970 with the goal of being a servant first and leader second (Spears, 1996).<br>Greenleaf theorized serving those around you will help everyone flourish and in turn grow the organization. Spears (1996) stated servant leadership only emerged “. . . from those whose primary motivation is a deep desire to help others” (p. 33). Servant leaders discover how to use other’s gifts to be of service to the community and train other servant leaders (Lafferty, Lewis, &amp; Spears, 2012/2013).</div>]]></description>
