So far, we worked on getting to know each other and most importantly making the Project Planning Overview in Padlet. We of course also looked on what we have to do for this project by attending the lectures, reading the course manual, and looking at the case study. We cooperated pretty well and the communication was good. Everyone contributed equally and if anything was unclear we could ask each other for directions and help. However, it would be better if everyone came prepared a bit better which would save time and confusion.

2) What issues or roadblocks did you identify and how did you identify them? 
In the beginning it was a bit vague what we had to do for the Project Planning Overview, what the different parts of this overview mean and how we have to do these different parts. The most unclear ones were the Gantt chart and the Critical Path Model analyses. We identified these ‘roadblocks’ because we all said at different moments that we did not really know what to do, how to do it and that we think the assignment is vague. 

3) How are you going to deal with the issues specifically to improve the working process?
The project is already much more clearly and we made a good project planning overview. If we do not find anything clear, we can always mail any of the teachers or ask other students who follow this course. Also, the feedback which we will get can help us improve. This week we further developed our critical path diagram. 

We first revised our tasks and slightly changed them. For example we parted the flow of the old and new situation, because that can be done separately. We also made an excel sheet and added an optimistic and a pessimistic time, computed the estimated time and with that computed the critical path. Our critical path has a length of 33 1/3 days which started on the 13th of November, so it should be finished around the 16th of December.

To make sure everybody does their tasks, we made an statement of work and everybody signed it. We did have a hard time determining the time a task should take, because this is not always that easy to know. BUt we the think we made an good estimate.

Hopefully we can build on this and makes it easier to see what has to be done in the next weeks.

Last week we started working on our layout design and layout description and we have made a lot of progress with this this week, partly due to the agreements we made in the statement of work that has been signed by everyone. the layout design and layout description are almost finished and so we are well on schedule as you can see on the gantt chart. 

We did have to deal with a few cases of illness last week, this was handled well by our group so that this could not cause any obstacles.
