         <title> Show children a Make-Say-Check-Mix Sheet. Take a word card, say it,make it with letters, check it, place a check in the box, and then mix the letters. They make,say,and check it two more times. Each time they should check letter by letter with the word on the card.Then they write the word quicklyin the thirdcolumn and check it with the card.Repeat for each HF wordyou have chosen for thislesson. Ask children toassist you on some of thesteps.Application  Give the children copies of the Make-Say-Check and Mix Sheet and the word cards you have selected for this lesson(more challenging words to those who know the easier ones. They make, say, check, mix three times and then write the wordin the third column and check it with the word card. Have the children work alone or with a partner.
