The ident should reflect the genre of the films and the target audience they want to attract. Effective idents include colour in them to make it pleasing to their audience and add more attention to the ident. A lot of idents include a name of a person liked to the production industry to give more information on the production company and the films. Production companies such as DreamWorks has a fantastical feel to its ident, relating to the kind of films they make which also have a fantastical and imaginative feel to them. I would choose this particular production company for our thriller mainly due to the films they have previously produced, such as The Quiet Ones and The Woman In Black, which have similar themes to the kind I am thinking of for our thriller.
