Originally I had no idea what I would be learning, or rather a good idea of what exactly I would be learning. They were so kind and amazing and I believe the societal stigmas against special education students need to go away. They were phenomenal students and were brilliant and asked so many questions and expressed very clearly any confusion they had. I loved working with them and I hope to do so more someday. They made me feel proud of myself that I want to become a teacher. The projects were fun, even if slightly challenging to plan and get started. I am not a fan of group projects but getting to work with the girls to create our lesson facilitation went better than I anticipated! We did a great job an dI loved seeing how other groups presented their projects.
