As soon as I leave my flat I am among the business of the city. The streets of Madrid can be loud and nosiy at night making it harder to sleep. I have become adjusted it , going out on a Friday or Saturday night is a good idea too. I have 8 housemates, we all get along, I am a social person and like to be among people so I enjoy this. We like in a very nice apartment and we each have a big balcony in or rooms which face a quite street. I have now cooked pasta 4 times and I have been in Madrid for over 7 weeks now...
I miss the ease of English ready meals and big supermarkets. Living so central means the supermarkets are small with a small variety of food. I went one afternoon after my university classes were over. Alcala is free with the Abono so I would recommend everyone to visit thee birth place of Cervantes. My favourite thing I saw as the Palicio de Laredo.
