I would ask what supports the teacher has put in place for this student. I would ask how I can be of assistance.          <title>I noticed the student is absent the most in earth science class. This may be due to the language difficulty in science class or the student-teacher relationship! we can have a discussion with both the teacher and the student on why the student is mostly absent during this class. </title>

Understand the "why" so you come prepared with background information before having a conversation with the teacher about the student's grades. The conversation with content teacher should be about addressing how and what is being graded. Then providing the teacher with necessary tools, help and grading flowchart document that you can walk through with them and give scenarios.  </p>]]></description>
