I want to tell you about the Butterfly Stage in our school.

天氣好的時候，朝會會在蝴蝶舞台前舉行。

We usually have the student assembly in front of the Butterfly Stage when the weather is nice.

舞蝶舞台的牆壁上有毛毛蟲、小孩、一棵樹、很多蝴蝶和小花。

There are caterpillars, children, a tree, butterflies and small flowers patterns on the wall.

I’d like to tell you about puppet course.

我們有前場和後場，前場要操偶，後場要敲鑼打鼓。

We have the front and the back stage crew.

The Front Stage crew performs with the puppets.

The back stage crew plays the musical instruments.

練習完，我們會表演一齣戲。

We put on a show after a lot of learning and practice.

I’d like to tell you about the calligraphy course.

每次上課我會先看有關書法的小故事。

I would read short stories before I go to calligraphy classes.

也會有專業的書法老師來指導我們。

There are some excellent calligraphy teachers.

過年前我們也會寫春聯。

We would create spring couplets before Chinese New Year.

I’d like to tell you about tadpole swimming pool in our school.

蝌學泳池是一個特別的泳池，因為冬天的時候是蝌蚪在游泳。

It’s special because tadpoles swim in the swimming pool in winter.

夏天的時候是小朋友在游泳。

And children swim in the swimming pool in summer.

I want to tell you about the mini farm course.

我們會鋤草、施肥、播種和種蔬菜。

We weed, fertilize, sow seeds and plant vegetables.

到了學期末，我們會有食農餐會、做好吃的佛卡夏。

We make focaccia with the vegetables we grow and enjoy delicious food parties at the end of the semester.

There are three canal trails near our school.

有坪頂古圳、新圳和登峰圳。

They are “ Pingding, Xinzhen and Dengfeng Canals”.

有一次我們走新圳時，看到蝙蝠垂掛在牆上。

Once when we walked along the canal, we saw bats hanging on the wall.

走在隧道中很可怕但很好玩， 下次可以來玩。

Walking in the tunnel is scary but fun.

I’d like to tell you about the seasons and climate in Taiwan.

台灣有四季:春、夏、秋、冬。

There are four seasons in Taiwan.

春天可看見櫻花；夏天非常的熱；秋天有許多的葉子變黃紅色；冬天則是非常的寒冷。

Cherry blossoms in spring; summer is very hot; there are many leaves turn yellow and red in fall; it’s very cold in winter.

我最喜歡春天。

I like spring the best.

I’d like to tell you about stinky tofu.

臭豆腐是炸過的發酵豆腐。

Stinky tofu is fried fermented tofu.

聞起來像臭襪子一樣，但是在台灣臭豆腐很好吃也很名。

It smells like smelly socks but it’s delicious and very famous in Taiwan.

I’d like to tell you about the pineapple cakes.

鳳梨酥在台灣很有名，外面有酥脆的外皮，內餡有香甜、彈牙的鳳梨果醬。

Pineapple cakes are so popular in Taiwan.

There is crispy and crumbly crust on the outsides, and it’s filled with sweet, chewy pineapple jam on the inside.

I’d like to tell you about the braised pork rice.

魯肉切成小塊後再放在飯上。

The braised pork is cut into small pieces and then put on the rice.

滷肉QQ彈彈、香味十足。

The braised meat is juicy and full of flavor.

因為太好吃了，所以我一個月至少要吃上一碗。

Because it’s so yummy, I eat it all the time.

台北101是台灣著名的地標和購物中心。

Taipei 101 is a famous landmark and shopping mall in Taiwan.

建築裡有辦公室和餐廳。

There are offices and restaurants in Taipei 101.

在89樓觀景台你還可以看到風阻尼器。

You can see the damper at the 89 Floor.

Sun Moon Lake is a big and beautiful lake in Taiwan.

它的名字來自湖的 一邊向太陽，另一邊像月亮。

It got its name because one side looks like the sun and the other looks like the moon.

人們可以騎腳踏車、坐船或走路欣賞風景。

People can ride bikes, take boats trips, or walk around to enjoy the view.

這裡也是台灣邵族的特別地方。

It is also a special place for Taiwan’s Thao people.

野柳在新北市的北海岸。

Yehliu is on the north coast of New Taipei City.

在那便有一個叫女王頭的雕像。

There is a famous Queen’s Head Rock.
