I chose this image because I like flowers. 
2.What did you learn and what might you change if you were to redo this project? 
I learned that I actually hate making mosaics and I don't think it would change even if I chose a different image, because I would still follow the same process for I did for this one. I think this medium just isn't for me. 
3.Which parts are the most pleasing or successfull?
The most pleasing parts of this project are seeing everything fit together so nicely. Why did you choose that particular image to work with?
I went through my gallery and chose a bunch of pictures of my friends and family.  I narrowed I down based on composition.  And I ended up with the picture of my brother eating candy.

What did you learn and what might you change if you were to redo this project?
I would use a better quality glue stick.  Mine got the job doe, but It was difficult to work with 
Which parts are the most pleasing or successfull?
I really liked adding in the hair and the bits of red to the piece.  I feel like  it really made it pop!

I chose this image because it had my favorite colors, cream and pink. I also chose it because it is a photo of a Japanese cheesecake, a dessert I had recently which I fell in love with.

What did you learn and what might you change if you were to redo this project?
If I were to redo the project, I would have increased the saturation of the colors more, especially for the shadow area because the  transition between the shadow and the light isn't very equal. I would have also made more swatches for the gradation of the brown, since the transition between the brown and cream isn't as gradual as I'd want it.

2.  I learned how I can make the image down into small pieces. I have never done anything like this before. I think I could’ve changed the darker part of the era. I could arrange the dark purple squares differently. I think that way the shape of the balloon would look better. 

3.  I enjoyed doing the background more than the inside. In fact, I put little bit more shading than the original picture. I thought that it made the picture more interesting.
