Communication vs MNCs
From my personal point of view, communication plays a more pivotal role in fuelling globalization. Nowadays, with the staggeringly rapid adavancement of technology, the invention of electronic devices is all the rage these days. The normalization of the usage of these gadgets, undoubtedly, permits telecommunication transcending geographical bounderies. The exchange of ideas across porous national borders incentivizes global citizens to establish their own companies and corporations and this is how communication nurtures the embryo of MNCs. Many may argue that it is the uprising of MNCs that propels the progress of globalization. Though it is irrefutable that MNCs spur the progression of globalization, MNCs will not even exist without communication. Simply saying, an MNC can never develop and progress without brainstorming different ideas. being unable to negotiate with other companies, deals cannot be signed and economic benefit cannot be reaped. Evidently, without communication, a dire ripple effect will be engendered, which will eventually crush the whole system of MNCs. Therefore, the question about whether Communication or MNCs play a more essential role in this cosmopolitan world now can be easily solved like a math question. As communication facilitates the operation of MNCs while MNCs serve as a fuel to propel globalization, communication, irrefutably, functions as the most fundamental and substantial tool that pushes the globalization.

Communication vs MNCs
Of the two factors. I believe communication is the more important driving force of globalization compared to Multi-National Corporations .

Communication has helped drive globalization since the 19th century. The first mobile phone was made in 1973, allowing the first public wireless telephone call, and in 1983, the public gained access to the first commercially available mobile phone, making mobile communication accessible to them. This in turn allowed them to communicate with people from any part of the world, making the world more connected and creating interconnections and interdependence amongst the people. This is even more true in this time and age. Nowadays, smartphones have made it convenient for people across the globe to communicate anytime and anywhere through various means, such as messaging, voice or video calls and social media platforms, and additionally, they have also made the Internet easily available, granting us access to a vast amount of information.

On the other hand, MNCs are businesses with economic activities in at least one country aside from their home country, and they control many aspects of international trade and investment. Their operations, which have a global span, increases the economic interconnections between people and goods throughout the world, driving globalization. MNCs not only provide economic benefits, but also help exchange new ideologies and improve current ones, allowing countries to share their knowledge with one another and create interconnection and interdependent relationships.

However, communication plays a more significant role in driving globalization. The operations of MNCs will not be possible without communication, especially so when dealing with economic activities outside of ones home country, and the sharing of information is also made easily doable through communication (etc calls, messaging, video conference). Therefore, communication is most definitely a more significant driving force of globalization

Transportation vs Communication

Of the two factors of globalisation, transport is the more important one, because it sustains globalisation. Transportation fuels and is fueled by the economy. Improvements in transportation technology have an immediate, long lasting effect on economies. A good example would be the invention of aeroplanes, which superseded ships in terms of speed and reliability. Communication exists only through infrastructure established by transportation. Hence, communication can be seen as a byproduct of transportation, and is not as significant in contributing to globalisation as transportation.

Communication vs MNCs

Among the two driving factors of globalisation, I believe that Communication plays a more crucial role.

First of all, the founding and development of MNCs require brilliant and innovative ideas. Nowadays, ideas and knowledge are gained and delivered through communication and its advanced technology. Ideas are gained through knowledge, which is easily found on the internet/google nowadays.
The Global network is indeed, what enables entrepreneurs and businessmen to gain the ideas to form MNCs. This is also supported by the drastic widespread of MNCs after 1990s which was during the internet era. In short, MNCs won't be able to be formed without the advancement in technology.

Secondly, in order to sustain control and coordination in MNCs, communication is needed. Communication is pivotal for all MNCs and their branches to work as leaders can coordinate and control activities, programmes, and changes better. Without communication, the whole system that connects all branches of MNCs would not even exist. In conclusion, communication is more important than MNCs as it facilitates coordination for them to work.

Transportation makes it possible for people to travel great distances to destinations once regarded as too difficult to reach. This convenience has facilitated the widespread sharing of ideas and resources in order to achieve shared objectives. Furthermore, transportation has allowed for the movement of resources from place to place to enable infrastructure be built in a multitude o locations hence making the world more connected.
However, transportation can only push globalization so far. Beyond this, MNCs are required to further propel globalization forward. MNCs are multi faceted organizations which constitute people and elements from all over the globe. As a result of their tremendous size, MNCs control economic trade and investment between nations. As economic funds are essential for developments in transportation and technology, which aid globalization, MNCs are integral for globalization. In addition, MNCs also allow for the rapid spread of ideas and cultures as they are the main reason behind people of various nationalities travelling abroad to work. As such
MNCs are a stronger driving force behind globalization, when compared to transportation.

Communication VS Transportation.

Of these two factors, I believe that communication is the stronger factor behind globalization. Although I do agree that transportation also contributes to globalization, this factor relies heavily on communication in order to help drive globalization. For example, with the help of transportation, materials can be transported long distances to other countries to be used in their products to boost productivity. However, without any communication between the two countries, no goods will be able to be transported. In our modern day civilization, to live without any communication is to walk with your eyes closed. To add on, with our current advancements in technology, people can instantly exchange ideas despite being thousands of kilometers away in another country. Hence, i can conclude that undoubtedly, communication is the major factor that has helped fuel globalization in many different aspects.

This is because communication builds the infrastructure and foundation required by MNCs to develop and grow. While MNCs undoubtedly drives the progression of globalisation today, without communication, it will not be able to function. Communication, on the other hand, facilitates the sharing of ideas and knowledge, bypassing geographical restrictions. This allows negotiation between MNCs, thus allowing agreements to be formed. Without this, there would be little to no economic gain which is ultimately the end goal of globalisation. Therefore, communication is the most important driving force of globalisation as MNCs are dependent on communication to function.

My reason behind this is because transport is like the tools that are used to help carry out globalization but communication is the key that drives it. Without communication, transport becomes useless. Sure some may argue that without transport, goods cannot travel from country to country. However, if you think about it, without communication FIRST, we cannot transport goods in the first place. The question is what drives globalization and if we can agree that communication comes first before transportation, there is no doubt that communication drives globalization.

This is because it is with transport, MNCs were able to be organized. Advancements in technology, especially in transport, making transport faster and able to carry even more made it more useful than MNCs. MNCs require different things, such as the shipping of goods, such as the components for their products, as well as transport for their workers. Transport makes this possible, because it ensures that MNCs can spread throughout the world, and establish their international bases and companies in other countries, and ship their goods to trade and do business.

Transport vs MNCs

Between the two factors of Transport and MNCs, I personally feel that the factor of Transport plays a bigger role as a Driving Force of Globalization. My stance on this is because without Transport existing, the MNCs are not able to travel to neighbouring or even far out countries, to negotiate with the organizations overseas to see if they have interest in setting up a business. This is not the only thing that the MNCs rely on as they also need transport for the goods needed to build up the infrastructure for their company. Things such as communication devices like mobile phones, goods for trade, construction materials and even transport needed for consumers for meetings with the company are some examples of the fundamentals behind setting up a company. Therefore I feel that Transport truly is a driving force behind Globalization and is more important than MNCs as without its existence, MNCs would truly be a perilous predicament as they would not be able travel far or get the necessary materials to start a business.

Communication vs MNCs

Among these two driving forces of globalization, I think that communication is indeed the most important of them all. Communication allowed for the transfer and passing down of valuable knowledge and cultural practices. Communication was crucial in passing information around and the globe, turning the globe into a more connected and smaller world to live in. It is through communication that the citizens of the world are able to learn more about the cultures of another country and other global events. One example of communication being a strong driving force of globalization is social media. The recent US elections saw an increase of voters from a 53.6% in 2012 to 57.9% in 2016. One large factor was social media, which made the US election viral not only in the USA, but throughout the world. Thus communication is a strong driving force of globalization in today's world.

Another driving force of globalization is the presence of MNCs. These companies drive trade and innovation throughout the world, allowing for the expansion of economies onto the global stage. Singapore is highly dependent on MNCs as it is a small nation state and does not have enough land for agriculture or production of natural resources. With MNCs, the world's economy becomes interconnected and one. MNCs have planted themselves across many countries and have formed a large link of companies, this not only makes a countries economy more open too the world but also drives the movement of people from different countries, either due to work postings or for better job opportunities abroad. Thus through these ways, MNCs turn our world into one globalised network.

However, I believe that Communication is still the largest and most powerful driving force of globalization. MNCs can only work and manage their vast business empires with a good communication network to interlink their different bases strewn across the globe. Communication, especially networks like Skype, allow for online conferences to be held by people across the world. It is only with communication that large ligistic networks can be set up to ensure smooth functioning throughout the whole company. Communication also allows for intercultural exchanges and immersions. Through online posts, anyone is able to learn of global events happening throughout the world and be more aware of the global landscape and the people who make it up. Other than economical diversity and benefits, MNCs cannot really bring about changes in culture and social impacts that communication can bring about. Thus i think that communication is the more major factor in driving globalization due to the vast amounts of knowledge that can be shared through it and the rapid social impact it can have on the world.

Transport vs MNCs

Between Transportation and Multinational Corporations (MNCs), I feel that MNCs play a more significant role as a driving force of globalisation. It is true that transportation provides means of connection and also breakthroughs in areas such as shipping and globetrotting which helps fuel globalisation. Transport also allow the spread of ideas and the spreading roots of MNCs. However, transport starts to stop boosting globalisation then. Today, our economy is dominated by MNCs that have established roots around the globe with the help of transportation. With these firm basis, they are able to spread ideas from one country to another even more effectively. Furthermore, because we live in an economy, as aforementioned, dominated by MNCs, we encounter MNCs on a day to day basis and through MNCs, we encounter bits and pieces of culture, ideas and habits from other countries.
Therefore, I really think that Multinational Corporations is the most significant driving force of globalisation.

Communications vs MNCs

Communications play a pivotal role in globalizing the world. Without Communications, globalization would have been an excruciatingly slow process, as the vocalization of innovations and discoveries would have been non-existent, not to mention, the idea of a globalized world would have been just a fantasy. However, although Communications is essential in kickstarting Globalization, MNCs are the ones that enabled Globalization to reach this stage. Driven by people seeking profit, MNCs played a substantial part in developing Communication, for example, Mobile phones are one of the most used communication device, and it is produced by MNCs such as Apple and Samsung. Without MNCs, Communications would not have developed to a global range, and would not extend beyond ones own country. Hence, MNCs are the reason why Communications is able to spread information to each and every corner of this world, and that is why i believe MNCs play a more significant role as a driving force of Globalization.

MNCs vs Advances in Technology

Between the two driving forces of globalisation, I think that the advances in technology is more significant than MNCs. Technological advancements in communication have resulted in greater access to the Internet and the increasing use of mobile communications. People are able to exchange information and share ideas across the world. There is no point having MNCs that have great ideas but are unable to share them because of the lack of technological advancements. Hence, there will only be locally-owned MNCs since there is no way for MNCs to branch out to other countries. MNCs control more aspects of international trade and investment but without technology, there would be no trading and investments. These two factors are interdependent As society is becoming more developed in terms of technology, I believe that through the advancements in technology, it would aid MNCs to reaching out to their customers, hence leading to globalisation.

Communication is definitely able to start globalisation through the means of people's experiences being shared online, but if asked which spread globalisation faster, Transportation would be the faster one as the culture itself is transfered to another country, and people who tries the cultural item that is moved there physically would be more impactful to the person rather than hearing how the items work itself. Therefore, transportation plays a more pivotal role in globalisation

MNCs vs Communication

The term "globalization" became frequently used at the turn of the twenty first century, so what drives globalization to be so well known among us?
There are three most vital factors, communication, transportation and MNCs, and all of them play pivotal roles in globalization. However, we argue about which is more important than the other, but frankly, all these factors are dependent on each other, one would not exist without the other piece to complete the puzzle.
Of the three factors, I want to focus on communication and MNCs. In globalization, communication is inevitable. In fact, globalization started because of the urge to spread and share ideas among human. The spread of ideas utilizes communication. Hence, in term of fundamentals, communication is the backbone globalization.
However, to act as a driving force, I personally feel that MNCs create more significant changes. MNCs give people purposes and benefits in communicating and transporting nowadays. MNCs has a huge impact on economies as it enables them to thrive with a shocking amount of profit. Some of the most profitable are Apple Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd, which both has a total revenue of nearly 190 billion USD. Not only do MNCs provide us with purposes, it assisted communication to be so well developed today. Communication is efficient because of inventions such as smartphones and social media. These inventions are created and upgraded by MNCs such as Facebook and Apple which has made communication much more convenient. Thus, I believe that MNCs is the most important driving force of globalization.

The rapid advancements in technology creates more interconnection and business opportunities. However, MNCs are also crucial as it allows ideas that are communicated to be developed. Transport vs MNCs

While it is true that MNCs are the driving force in todays economy to puah forward advancements in transport, movement is the key factor that allows such MNCs to even begin their businesses. Without the accesibility of cargo around the world, companies would not think to even move their products beyond their local areas. If they had tried to do so, the cost and effectiveness or lack therof would hinder their drive toward economic gain. It was only through transport advancements that such MNC corporations like Amazon can deliver on their "Same day, Free shipping" promises.

Not only that, borders between countries exist due to political tensions, which may affect business globalisation. Transport helps larger nations maintain a foothold in many countries as peacekeepers, which allows for a more open world, one of acceptance and tolerance, unlike the era of the World Wars and the Cold War. If political tensions were as high now as then, we would have no trade or companies exporting globally, once again with the helping of transport technology, or any MNCs for that matter. That is why I believe that because transport gives MNCs the means and the environment to flourish, globalisation has been brought about more so by transport rather than MNCs.

These corporations coordinate many different things, such as trade routes, communications and many more. They are able to spread their influence worldwide with the help of transport and help to fuel businesses worldwide. They employ millions of people and fuels many countries' economies worldwide.
They have led to the spreading of innovative ideas and technologies that has developed much of the known world. Transportation helps in globalisation to some extent, but MNCs help to propel globalisation even further and make the world an inter-connected and globalised world.

I think that MNCs are more important than transport presently as now with the increasing need for products like technology etc.MNCs are on the rise as more and more companies are spreading and shipping their products worldwide. This is where transport comes into play where transport is required to ship products from one place to another. However the reason why I think that MNCs are more important than transport is because without MNCs,transport would not have any thing that they can transport.

It is undeniable that transport play a huge role in transporting cargo around the world and leading to a globalised world. However, MNCs are the real driving force. These corporations coordinate many different things, such as trade routes, communications and many more.
