That is definitely my favorite part of Rihanna and the music industry; the star power which many lack. This influenced me into being a more considerate and confident person when it comes to the career as image is everything. Taking all of that into consideration, she definitely influenced my love for hip hop with a mix of pop as she does not do just one single genre. She experimented with almost every musical genre. Moreover, Rihanna definitely also influenced me to think outside of the box in the career of audio that I picked as sometimes it is not just about the audio as there is much more at play such as charisma, personality of music or person, uniqueness, fashion, as well as confidence in herself.

One of the favorites was ‘The Way I Are’, as well as ‘Promiscuous’. The singer definitely made the songs memorable, however the beat behind the vocals was definitely what made it memorable for me. This gave me the perspective that vocals do matter, however truly original and brilliant beats can make a mediocre song outstanding. The way Timbaland produced the beats influenced me to think outside the box of music producing. Timbaland usually uses his voice to make melodies, it can be random mumbling, as well as random songs that Timbland can turn into a melody. It can be seen as brainstorming even. It influenced me to not look at producing as a difficult task, but rather a fun way to think and produce at the same time.

It definitely opened my eyes to the fact that vocals are not everything and made me look towards other genres of music that I never even thought that I had a connection with.
