I was born and raised Catholic, so this is the religion I identify with. At the age of 14 I was baptized in the church-in my small town Likasi, in the Democratic Republic of Congo- a parish called St. Therese; it is also the largest community in my small town, and I can say that I feel comfortable and in tune with myself to be part of this culture which is Catholicism.

My favorite career according to the list of those suggested to me after my assessment test is healthcare inspector.

Working in a medical environment has always been one of my greatest wishes, and being a doctor or nurse or midwife or just an inspector would be a good fit for me. So for that, I have to be a student in medical school and before that I have to take at least biomedical engineering classes for 4 years and then apply in med school. So yeah, I have a lot to do but I have faith that I will make it.

The Democratic Republic of Congo is subdivided into provinces, and I was born and raised in the province of Katanga, in the southeast of the country in a small town called Likasi. A small town with a fairly large number of inhabitants. It used to be the most beautiful city in the province, but today it is no longer so. I was born in a family of 5 in which I am the youngest. I have 2 sisters and 2 brothers and one amazing niece and a handsome nephew.

African culture is a culture with many fundamental values. Strongly influenced by the history of the tribes or by events that are an integral part of its past, as an African woman I must have a sense of respect, ethics and love of neighbor which are very important values in African culture.

I am a singer

I used to sing in a choir in my parish from the time I was 12 until I was 14. Then I stopped because of personal reasons, and then a few years later I started singing again in another choir but in South Africa for 2 years until I decided to come to the United States. A little anecdote, since I was very young I have always made noises in the ears of my parents and siblings, at a certain time I no longer cried when I got up, but I sang (it was my mother who told me this), being herself a chorister at a very young age, I followed in her footsteps, and today I am still looking for a choir in which I can resume service because music has a an integral place in my life.
