She also made an address about woman's rights, formed a group with Susan, and toured the world, making more speeches. Sadly, she passed away before she could cast a vote. Her words affected many people, so they started to carry on her protest. My text evidence is,"She took her father's advice, and wrote a proclamation."," In her address at the convention, Elizabeth said, Because woman do feel themselves...deprived of their most sacred rights, we insist that they have immediate admission to all the rights and privileges which belong to them as citizens of the United States." , "In 1869, they formed the National Woman Suffrage Association.", "Elizabeth toured the country", and "Elizabeth Cady Stanton never got to cast a vote before she died on October 26, 1902. Yet her bold words had a lasting impact. Women finally gained the right to vote on August 18, 1920 when the 19th amendment was ratified.".

I believe that Elizabeth Cady Stanton made a big difference in life. When Elizabeth was 11 years old, her father said that he wished that she was a boy instead of a girl. Elizabeth was shattered with what he said. At first, she wrote lines about some laws she was opposed to, but then, she took her father's advice and wrote a proclamation. The proclamation was called the "Declaration of Rights and Sentiments." Three years later, Elizabeth C. Stanton teamed up with Susan B. Anthony and formed the National Women Suffrage Association. She wrote speeches and didn't care if they caused tension. Elizabeth never got a chance to vote, but other women got to on 1920, thanks to Elizabeth Cady Stanton!
