Our theme is about special needs and care places in Kuwait. We chose this theme to create awareness for people who don’t know about the centers in Kuwait. We made a variety of choices such as the Kuwait society for the handicapped, we chose that location since it is the first charity organization in Kuwait. Another place is the first step counseling center we chose this location because of its well-organization. Add to this, the Kuwait center for mental health, because it provides free services to people with mental issues. Moreover, the Autism Partnership due to the parents’ training they offer.

Kuwait society for the handicapped is the best place for handicapped. First, I choose these place because it`s a good place for handicapped. Also they provide services to children with disabilities. I advice people to visit it to see how they take care of handicapped people. Second, These place is special because it`s provides all types of medical and psychological treatment, Support handicapped people and achieve continuous positive change in the lives of people they serve. Finally, People can do there vocational training such as: Photocopying, Arts, Education, Carpentry, Pottery and sewing. This place make you feel comfortable and happy. We should always take care of handicapped people and support them so they can keep going.

Kuwait center for mental health is a caring place for people who suffer from mental health issues. I chose this place because it has well treatment for different mental issues and it offers many services to all ages. This centre is actually very speacil comparing to other centers. First, it contains a lot of psychiatric clinics such as, clinics for people suffering from depression, stress, and more problems. Second, it provides really fast services because of the number of clinics and workers, so you don’t have to wait there for a long time. Third, it’s open all day and it allows you to visit at any time. Finally, the most speacil thing about this place that it gives you free services; that way you won’t need to worry about money. Let’s move on to the activities that everyone can do there. On of the activities is that you can attend sessions that help to raise awareness about mental disorders and their effect on us. Moreover, those sessions give you advices to stay healthy mentally and how to avoid habits that lead to mental and self-harm. Add to this, people can have a group therapy together; this helps people to communicate together and share their thoughts with each other. Furthermore, there are educational meetings where you can understand people thoughts and mental health in a better way. To sum up, this place makes you feel calm, happy, and increases our confidence on yourself.
