I am king James I and I am the first puritan king who took over the great Queen Elizabeth.I was the first king of England to translate the bible into English, calling it the king James Bible. I was honored as the namesake for the new English settlement in our newly acquired land of America. we named it Jamestown.

Because of my success I was crowned the Lord Protector where I ruled England until I passed in 1658.I changed the government of England by abolishing the monarchy and establishing the Commonwealth.
