3월은 넓은호수3반에 모인 친구들이 새로운 반에 적응하고 긍정적인 마음으로 지낼 수 있도록 '유치원과 친구'라는 주제를 선정했습니다.

1주차에는 유치원과 우리반에 적응하고 탐색해 볼 수 있도록 했습니다.

어떻게 하면 친구 이름을 쉽고 재미있게 알 수 있을까~~? 아이들과 함께 의논해보았어요. 선생님과 넓은호수3반 친구들의 의견을 모아 친구이름으로 수수께끼, 보물찾기를 해보기로 했답니다.

"얘들아~ 오늘은 선생님이 너희들이 유치원에 오기전에 넓은호수3반 친구들의 이름을 꼭 꼭 숨겨두었어!"
"우와! 어디에 숨겨뒀어요? 빨리 찾을래요!"
"기대가 되지요? 친구이름을 찾으면 어떻게 할까?"
"찾은 이름을 친구한테 줘요."
"그냥 주면 재미 없을 것 같은데..."
"친구이름을 말하면서 사랑한다고 해요!"
"정말 좋은 생각이다~ 친구가 너무 너무 행복할 것 같아^^"

"나는 동글동글해요. 나는 데굴데굴 굴러가요. 나는 누구일까요?"
"공!!"
역시나 아이들의 관심과 흥미를 확 끌 수 있었어요. 
"공으로 무엇을 할 수 있을까?"
"던지기!"
"교실에서 던지면 위험할 것 같은데..."
"그럼 굴리면 되잖아요!"
"그럴까? 안전하게 바닥에 굴려보자."

바닥에 공을 굴리면서 "누구한테 줄까~~?"라고 말하며 즐거워하는 넓은호수3반 친구들! 
"얘들아, 그냥 공을 굴리니까 재미가 없는걸? 어떻게 굴리면 좋을까?
"친구한테 하고싶은 말을 해요!"
"좋은생각이다. 뭐라고 말하면 좋을까?"
"음... 반가워!"
"좋아! 00야 만나서 반가워~ 라고 말하면서 굴려보자~"

"다 같이 탈 수 있는 기차를 만들어요!"

모두가 탈 수 있으려면 기차가 끊어지지 않아야하고, 안전하게 탈 수 있게 튼튼하게 만드려면 오랜 시간이 걸리는 일이랍니다. 아직은 자기중심성이 강한 시기이기 때문에 만드는 동안 다투기도 했지만 의견을 나누면서 문제해결능력을 기르고 끝까지 기차를 완성해보는 경험을 통해 성취감을 느끼며 뿌듯해 했답니다 :)

동화 표지를 탐색해보면서 당근유치원 토끼 친구들이 몇명인지 세어보았습니다. 하나, 둘, 셋... 열다섯명! "우와! 선생님! 우리반 친구들이랑 똑같아요!"라고 말하면서 기뻐하는 모습이 너무 귀여웠답니다>.<

충분히 표지를 탐색 한 뒤 "선생님이 여기 마법을 부려왔어! 짜잔! 당근유치원 표지랑 무엇이 다를까?"라고 말하며 아이들의 호기심과 흥미를 끌었습니다. 당근이 제일 먼저 생각난다는 넓은호수3반 친구들!
그래서 마무리로 당근을 만들어보기로 했어요. 색종이를 이용하여 당근을 접어보았습니다. 아직은 색종이 접기가 서툴고 어려워하는 친구들이 많았지만 선생님과 잘하는 친구의 도움을 받아서 금방 뚝딱! 만들어냈답니다. 그리고 나만의 당근 무늬를 그려주면 완성!

"우리가 만든 당근으로 무엇을 하면 좋을까?"

자석블록으로 '본부'를 만들었다가 '당근유치원'으로 변신! "선생님~ 당근유치원 이름이 필요해요!" 아이들의 요청에 대신 글씨를 써주었고 당근을 그려 넣고 잘 보이는 위치에 테이프로 붙여주었답니다. 당근유치원 등장인물은 와플블록으로 만들어서 넣어주는 넓은호수3반 친구들! <당근 유치원>은 유치원을 싫어하던 빨강 토끼가 점점 곰 선생님에게 마음을 열고 유치원에 가기를 좋아하게 되는 과정을 그린 사랑스러운 그림책입니다.  <당근 유치원>은 유치원이라는 낯선 세계로 발을 내딛는 넓은호수3반 친구들에게 용기를 주는 책입니다. 

◎신체운동건강
유치원이 새로운 사람을 만나고 알아가는 기쁨이 가득한 공간,친구들과 함께 재미있고 즐거운 일이 잔뜩 할 수 있는 공간, 나를 위해 주는 좋은 선생님들이 있는 안전하고 따뜻한 공간이라는 것을 알고 건강하고 안전하게 생활할 수 있는 방법을 배웠습니다.
◎의사소통
당근유치원 동화를 통해 책에 관심을 가지고 상상하기를 즐기게 되었습니다. 등장인물의 마음을 상상하며 이야기에 공감하고 자신의 마음을 자신감 있게 표현할 수 있는 방법을 배웠습니다. 
◎사회관계
친구들과 보물찾기, 공으로 마음 전하기, 구르기, 높이 쌓기, 당근수확하기 게임 등 다양한 활동과 놀이를 통해 친구와 서로 도우며 사이좋게 지내는 방법에 대해 배웠습니다.
◎예술경험
유아들에게 친숙한 '나처럼 해봐요' , '당근송'을 따라하면서 신체를 이용하여 움직임과 춤으로 자유롭게 표현하는 방법을 배웠습니다.
◎자연탐구
'당근유치원' 친구들의 수를 세어보며 수량을 알아보았고 당근에 관심을 가지고 주변의 식물을 탐색해보며 자연의 소중함을 배웠습니다.

이제 입학식날 어색했던 모습들보다 새로운 환경에 많이 적응해 나가고 있으며, 크고 작은 원 내 규칙들과 약속들을 배우고 바른 기본 생활 습관에 대해 하나 둘 배워가고 있습니다. 

유아기의 발달은 모든 발달의 기초가 됩니다. 부모님께서도 너무 조급해하지 마시고 자연스럽게 놀이하며 경험하고 배워갈 수 있도록 배려해 주시길 바랍니다.^^
