         <description><![CDATA[<div>One of the models is the family stress model. On page 2, it explains, " It is based on evidence from both human and animal studies that punishing experiences, such as economic pressure, have a negative effect which can take many forms, such as despondency, depression, anger, or aggression."<br><br>Those sort of emotions can disrupt family relationships. When parents show conflict and seem angry, depressed, or sullen, this usually leads to withdraw or inconsistent parenting which then leads to teens leaning towards more risky behavior.</div>]]></description>

On page 3 it explains, " A peer is a person who is equal to another in abilities, qualifications, age, background, and social status."   They have a strong tie in social comparison and reflected appraisal and and usually are always meeting the demands of those considered the most popular in their peer group. <br><br>Those who are well liked are different from those who are considered popular. Being popular puts you on the top tier of of dominance hierarchy.</div>]]></description>
