One of my favourite lessons when we go through was about prophet Yusuff alaihisaalam. Before that I only see from the aspect of prophet Yusuff itself, on how can he survive in the chaos and toxic environment, but and then we learned that what make he strong, able to go through all the phases is tawhid that was instil by his father, prophet Yaqub. And that again make me firm to pursue harder and more diligent in my studying despite all the challenges. When I was in semester 1, taking usrah 1 course, I always hope my next usrah will have improvement. Not to nag or something, but I just want people to not have bad impression to usrah eventhough people only taking it because of iium syllabus. The content of each meeting was elaborated well and understandable. Our sister always tries her best to give authentic answer and what’s most importantly is, it is from the Islamic perspective itself.

We start first part of our class with sharing session so there will be 3 or 4 person that will be sharing on whatever they want to share. It is interesting to see every each of us have different personality, perspective and interest but yet we still friend like we all under same kuliyyah and course. Many of us shared about parent where they always be a party of crying because missing and the trip guilty towards our parent. Haha. There were also stories about how life get. It makes me realizes that adulting is hard but it makes you stronger and resilient toward our challenges. Somehow it reminds me of Surah Al-Balad. Life is though, but we decided who decided on how to respond toward the obstacle.
