Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School in Oklahoma City is seeking qualified candidates to teach French in the academic year 2026-2027. Applicants must be highly motivated, have experience in teaching in high school, and work closely with World Language colleagues on lesson planning and curriculum alignment. Experience in, or ability to learn how to deliver content digitally is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in French, French education, or a related field is required in addition to being state certified to teach French. Salary is commensurate with experience and can be negotiated.

Bride Creek is a special community located in the countryside near Tuttle (30 minutes from OKC).

The school is 4A and full of wonderful people. It’s the perfect place for a young family to put roots down. It has a small town feel where everyone looks out for each other, yet is close to all the action in OKC.

Many teachers commute from the Yukon/Mustang/Blanchard areas. We generally have 4 day school weeks with 1-2 5 day weeks per month. Ideally, the Spanish teacher would also serve as the English Learners teacher - we have a small but growing latino population.

We have Realidades textbooks, but if you prefer your own curriculum, that is fine. Our building admin is great - they do everything they can to support us. Any questions, just ask!

I am leaving teaching for personal reasons, but this is a great place to teach and be a part of a sweet community.
