It is easy to facilitate physical activity with colleague because you have common goal for the children. Planning together makes it easier so both know and ready when it’s time to do the activity.

Facilitating physical activities with toddlers makes it easier if you planned the activities ahead. This means, all the needed materials are ready, safe space to execute, and giving a clear and simple instruction.

Facilitating Physical activities with toddlers can be challenging, it will test your patience. Toddlers are to fast and have short attention spans, the moment that you start preparing the material, their curiosity ignites. Also, not having the right environment or space can be tough.

Activities for infant and toddlers that include movement is very beneficial to them because that’s how they learn and explore. Movements strengthens their growing muscles and supports brain development. Also, this gives them confidence so they can achieve their milestones.

As an educator, the best advice that I can give to achieve smooth and easy facilitation is planning ahead, gathering all needed materials, set up the space or classroom and ask for help if needed.

To be able to achieve success, make it short and simple and give age appropriate activity. Incorporate some eye catchers or cue words.

Freda

Facilitating on physical development through Inuit inspired activities in a daycare. 1. Toddlers keep it short and playful, with lots of laughter and fun. 3. FACILITATION IN THIS ACTIVITY is about guiding, supporting ,and creating opportunities for learning through manful interactions. 2,. I facilitated the activity by setting up space with soft mats and and open areas for crawling. Show them photos of seal toys. 3.make the learning environment safe a supportive for tummy crawl.,and free movement.when the toddler struggle with crawling I support and encourage any movement they feel comfortable with. I try to adjust their body parts to be comfortable for crawling and cheer them up. It is impotent for educators to help facilitate children during all the learning processes.
When you facilitate physical activities with toddlers what makes it easy?

Toddlers are at the stage were they enjoying the discovery of using their legs to run and walk and do certain movements that they couldn’t as infants. This makes it easy to facilitate physicals activities and they love copying what others in this case the educator will be doing. They are easy to keep engaged by making activities short and fun. You can be making sounds and faces while doing the actual activity. This helps in an avoiding boredom. Encouraging and praising by names helps in keep them in the game and they normally start doing more and showing how good they are.

I find it easy to allow the kids to go at their place and give them turns to prove their ability and a being flexible in scheduling helps that’s way some activities flow int he next without needing transition time.

Most kids are discouraged if they don’t get it at first or if someone does it better. Emphases that its about having fun not wining or who is the best helps. Physical assisting in the posture or position also helps make things smooth or also showing your failures as an instructor helps show that everyone tries until they get it.

~What makes it easy if we have team work, we help each other by dividing the responsibilities before we do the activities. And we always ask each others opinion.

~What makes it easy with the toddlers, when they all listen and cooperate and follow instructions. We make instructions short and demonstrate it with actions,Show them how to do it, as toddlers love to copy.

~What makes it challenging is children easily get distracted with other things around them and they get tired if we keep repeating the instructions.

~Doing activities with movement is so beneficial because it boosts their brain development, motor skills, improve their physical health.Active play can help the child express their feelings.

~Have all materials and items collected and ready to use for all planned activities so things can run smoothly and keeping the kids active so they won’t get bored and distracted .
