Guiding Question: While you read, try to locate Scott Gilmore's thesis (his message to us readers). Restate (in your own words) the main idea that he delivers in this disturbing and passionate editorial.

List of main ideas:
- The northern part of Canada where Indigenous people live has a worst unemployment rate than Sudan, an infant mortality worse than Russia and an appalling injustice.
- Imagining your daughter getting raped and drugged by an older man, your spouse getting kidnapped by a violent criminal or even getting arrested by a officer and instead of taking you to the police station he starts hitting and mocking you. Highly unlikely scenarios that could happen in Canada right? Well for indigenous people these are not hypothetical situations, these are pretty descriptions of their life in Canada.
- There are two Canadas, the one that everybody sees where you live a happy life, not worried about anything bad happening to your family, and the other Canada that most people don't know about where horrors occur almost every day.

Awnser to guiding question: In this article, Scott Gilmore describes the injustices in Canada and how Indigenous people are badly mistreated.
