Growing up, my teachers would often tell my mom that I'd pay so much attention to detail. My drawings from when I was 5 would have so many little things that other kids wouldn't even bother to color, but that was my favorite part. Within all these images, there's always something smaller to appreciate. Even if there's no smaller visual details, the stories behind it are quirky.

I also love this style because of its lines. The tank style emphasizes strong shoulders. The dropped waist emphasizes narrow hips, rather than an hourglass figure. The simplicity of color and line emphasizes, rather than distracting from, the natural form of the person wearing it. It turns what was described when I was growing up as a boyish figure (which I had) into an Emma Peel.

According to Wikipedia, “The Elise was named after Elisa Artioli, the granddaughter of Romano Artioli who was chairman of Lotus and Bugatti at the time of the car's launch” This does not surprise me because the Bugatti type 57 SC Atlantic is one of my favorite cars of all time because of its curves, elegance and power.

This photo is by Royce Bear, who states that it is “a blending of 5 exposures (this is not true HDR tonemapping), in order to capture the tremendous exposure range that exists within the lobby interior, and to add the correct warmth (color balance) to the wood.” I am constantly frustrated that my iPhone camera never captures the light correctly so I’m fascinated to learn more about this technique. I guess I’ll have to take photography next year!

Although both, have different styles, I think they share the philosophy of rescuing clothes from the old trunk and betting on sustainability. I also love that they are not afraid to combine different textures, and patterns, especially squares or dots, which I think are beautiful, or betting on wearing monochromatic outfits.

This rhinoceros has a dimension of 122 inch x 59 inch and it is surprising to see how the weapons were joined and amalgamated to transmit a message of peace, in a country where violence has become a constant concern for citizens.

It is a sculpture that made me shudder when I saw it.

It’s flexible & adaptable and it creates a cozy space from the rest of the house because of it being slightly lower. I dislike that a lot of modern setups are where the couches face a T.V

This piece is one of 4 themed looks that Wun highlighted in his show simply called Time. The sister pieces to The Soul are The Skin, The Flesh, and The Bones. They're all beautiful but The Soul is my favorite.

Since viewing it for the first time in an art history class, I've loved the composition, grandeur, storytelling, and cleverness of this piece. I hope to see it in person some day!
