         <description><![CDATA[<div>Think-Pair-Share- <br>Students will first post a written response using the sentence prompts above, then will share with a shoulder partner. They can then go back to the document and make any changes if their opinion has changed. <br><br>This helps ELL students by first attempting to respond to the question, then after a short discussion, they can review their response and improve it if they feel the need to. By sharing with a learner of a higher ability, they will using their expressive language as well as receptive. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This is a a google assignment. All students will have a digital copy or a printed version. Students are supported in this lesson on "The Bystander Effect" by having sentence starters in red. &nbsp;<br><br>Students first watch two&nbsp; videos on the Bystander Effect. The first question is done as a whole class discussion, with the teacher modeling the responses generated to show the many ways the questions can be answered then walking around and checking for understanding before students work on their own.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
