         <title>Types of Reading in the Classroom</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Read Alouds: Practicing read alouds can immensely improve students' reading levels. When a teacher reads aloud to students, it exposes the students to texts higher than their reading levels which creates collaboration. This is also a great way for the teacher to model fluent reading to her students.<br><br>Guided Reading: A component of shared reading blocks, the teacher will meet with the students in small groups to provide support to differentiated students.<br><a href="http://www.scholastic.com/teachers/article/4-tips-guided-reading-success">http://www.scholastic.com/teachers/article/4-tips-guided-reading-success</a><br><br>Shared Reading: An interactive experience in which the students take turn reading a specific text while under the guidance and support of the teacher.
