This course has allowed me to understand my people, the Caribbean people. Marcus Garvey stated that a people without knowledge of their past history and culture is like a tree without roots. However this course has allowed for increased awareness and understanding of my people and why we are who we are today. It has also facilitated my research and critical analysis skills. This course has challenged me to be socratic and question everything that is presented.I must however admit that keeping up with the online lecture sessions were a bit tedious nonetheless I would consider myself privileged to be enrolled in such a course as Foun 1101 Caribbean Civilisation.
Sincere thanks,
Jeial Davelle Lee.
816004222
