Throughout the run of the show, several people, after being converted, maintain their grip on their emotions and proceed to fight back against the Cybermen, but we are never shown what happens to them after the battle has concluded.


For example:

Yvonne was the first Human to revolt against the Cybermen; after taking out a handful of them, we don't see her again. At the end of the episode, the Cybermen and the Daleks are pulled into the void.


Another is Danny Pink, a human who died when became a Cyberman. Fortunately, his will was strong enough to hold on to his emotions, but to help the Doctor defeat The Master, he sacrificed his life to do so.


Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart was brought back to life as a Cyberman, just like Danny Pink, except he didn't self-destruct as he did and flew out of sight.

Title - They Meet

‘Scene open from Smokey rubble, panning to the doctor unconscious on their front.’

The Doctor, after awaking from a daze, hears a soft mechanical voice, familiar but not so.

Looking up, foot to head; smooth footed, sleek but sturdy frame. (Less like armour more like a shell) Covering wires and circuitry. Moving up to the shoulders and chest are a simple are rounded shape, resembling the muscular human form (mid bulk and tone) but covered in steal.

The Doctor flipping on his back in anticipation to get to their feet eye the head; held atop a steady neck, a (pointed) oval shamed head, turns to look down meeting The Doctor’s gaze, a shapely face (carved with care) a gentle curve to the brow and rounded cheeks, with reliefs for eyes and inside them; soft blue lights accompanied by a gesture of the mouth (subtle smile) that The Doctor could have sworn was a smile followed be kindness in its eyes.

Doctor: Are you a Cyberman?

Robot: We are Cyberhumain, may I help you to your feet, Doctor?

A metallic hand reaches out, human like, four fingers and a thumb, covered in segments of metal. (overlapping wiring underneath)

Doctor: Yes.

Are they are effortlessly pulled to their feet, the full scope of the tall figure in front of them can be seen.

The Doctor’s eyes had not betrayed them, everything they had thought they saw was standing before them. And atop the head of this Cyber being where the emotional inhibitor would sit was nothing aside from protruding squares either side of the head.

They became the Cyberhumain, and their new mission is to defend humanity from cyber conversion and humanity itself.
Traversing time and space in there just mission to prevent their own existence but in doing so; completing their mission.

Along the way they upgraded as is in their nature and essentially to them being able to fight and ever evolving enemy.
But they needed to look friendly, approachable, they wanted humans to trust them, so they took a more human shape, softer features and rounded edges, and and face which ones held a stiff stern look;
