I come from meat and potato salad, midwest food, ding dongs and coke.
I come from strong Republican opinions that molded liberal thoughts in my sister and me.
I come from blue collar attitude towards education that dismissed college and made me thirst for more knowledge.
I come from empty places of memories that long for the happy child my mom remembers.
I come from repeating the mistakes of my parents and overcoming the identity of responder to the actions of others. 
I come from finding me and faith and developing later in life the person God has created me to be.
