Personal Action - can be small scale or even private. It makes a difference in the life of the student, and potentially the lives of others and show personal motivation, interest or commitment. This form of action is part of student agency. 

Collective Action - Makes a difference in the life of the student, the learning community and potentially beyond. It is supported by other students and teachers. This form of action benefits from a more collective voice and allows for students to collaborate together.
