Ashlynd: 
- I think the nursery rhyme might be some foreshadowing to each character's death 
- None of them have ever met their host but have no issue staying in a random strangers home.
- I think Anthony is going to be one of the first one who dies. I don't know why but his arrogance seems intolerable.

Emma:
- I think it is kind of hard to remember every person so maybe we could recap who each person is?
- Do you really think it was the Owen's, Oliver's, Constance Culmington, or someone else who invited everyone?
- I think Wargrave is going to be very important to the story.

Julia:

- I looked up what a swan song is: a metaphorical phrase for a final gesture, effort, or performance given just before death or retirement.

- 10 solider figures is obviously some mad foreshadowing.
- the mixing of of oliver and owen kind of stuck out to me. could bot women not know the name? could they all been told different names?
- i noticed some syntax details: The Voice is capitalized, being used as a name perhaps?
- they were all just convicted for murder how do we feel about this?
- what do we think of  the title "swan song"

- Ok so first have we discovered who Mr. Owen is? 
- I wonder why whats her face didnt want to share her story. 
- All of them know exactly what the voice meant and most of them owned up to it. Poor Mr. Rogers, isnt it a cliche that it was always the butler? Thats why I am eliminating him as a suspect. But then again, this is the first murder mystery novels soooo..... I havnt eliminated anyone. Everyone is still a suspect!! 

Julia:
-ok I read this during work yesterday and I kind of forget what happened
-why does everyone think that Anthony killed himself?? 
-i like how once everyone went to bed they were all thinking about the person they killed - gave more background to the characters and their past
-what do you guys think happened to Mrs. Rogers?
-I thought that there was going to be 7 soldiers because both Anthony and Mrs. Rogers died and I thought it was going to hint at the general's death but no...

Emma:
- if this is supposed to be a creepy book, why do they go into detail describing how nice and non-creepy the house is?
- if they think Anthony dies because he killed himself, why are they so scared of each other?
- the fact that the wooden soldiers disappear as the people die is pretty cool
- the next rhyme says they travel back to Devon, and one stayed... well we already know that the general doesn't want to leave the island so maybe he stayed??
- i think maybe all of these people are connected to each other somehow (other than the fact that they all "indirectly" killed someone) and we are going to figure out how by the end of the book.

Ashlynd:
- Another person dies the same way the poem predicted BUT the cause of death is unclear? Any suspicions? 
- Since the doctor is the only one who can figure out the causes of death i think he will be one of the last ones left.
- Why are they still hung up with the idea that Tony killed himself? 
- The General is the only one who has comprehended that once you get on the island there's no escape. 
- Mr. Rogers has been very obsessed with the soldiers and was the one who noticed that two went missing...  
- emily brent= worst character

- I'm confused why they thought it was a suicide? It could have been any of them

-new theory: what if everyone is the murderer, each person kills another person, maybe armstong kills new person dead, emily killed mrs rogers, mr rogers killed tony, etc
-lumbard admits if he were to murder it would be for self interest
-emily claims she's going mad...

Emma:
-it literally took them 150 pages to realize that one of them was the killer
- does anyone else see how much the judge is controlling the situation?- makes him seem like a pretty good suspect
-interesting how none of them actually have a strong alibi
- is Emily okay? she is kind of creeping me out
- what was rogers trying to do by locking all the doors? I don't think that is going to stop whoever the killer is

Julia:

-so they are just arguing a lot and discussing the fact that one of them is the murderer

-Vera and Lombard are making an alliance but either one of them could be lying about their innocence

- I feel like things are gonna go down since they're all scared of each other now
- why was Armstrong so eager to jump up and offer to go find the General?
- Wargrave is awfully calm
- honestly I sympathize with Vera... if I was stuck on an island with a bunch of old (possibly homicidal) men, I would be scared too
- they should've just paired up or something so if one got killed they would know who it is
- ok but Rogers just doesn't seem phased at all even though his wife was literally murdered

- Just saying that a lot of these deaths have been drug abuse and the doctor seems like he could have has plenty of access to it...

- pretty odd of emily to be randomly walking around
- The person who died chopping sticks (I won't spoil) I didn't expect at all. 
- Vera's reaction seems normal but it also is very suspicious how she immediately snapped out of it when he hit her. 
- Lumbard says something that he doubts that blore could be the killer which makes me suspect Blore even more.
- they just let Emily sit by herself which is so annoying when theres a literal murderer killing people. 
-How could everyone be talking about her the same time she died like were they all in the room? 
-Armstrong and Lombard stuff has gone missing.
- Lombard is acting really weird
