And since it is my last project, I wanted to include my cohort members directly in it, so I've decided to create this Padlet to get your responses and reactions.

Project:
This project highlights images from the Bracero Program that I was shown during my time studying history at UC Santa Cruz. I thought of these images and discussed them with my last cohort, a graduate cohort, as we read historical books required by our program including, Stephen Piti's (2003) The Devil in Silicon Valley, Neil Foley's (2014) Mexicans In the Making of America. It was while I was in the program, that I was constantly challenged by peoples disinterest in history.  So this project is a collaboration on a historical piece, with two purposes:

1. For you to participate and share your thoughts on a historical piece, that may or may not be as historical in your perception. To do this, you can leave a word or words (or just leave a comment) to describe your thoughts on my piece, to put towards creating a word wall in class.


2. To create and share our collective work here with the class on De Anza Canvas on the day of the presentation. (through screenshot or directly from our word wall)
