Happy day’s are here again. The only thing we have to be afraid of is our self.

I will work to regain faith in our country. I will also work to regain our agricultural and our business. I will also bring relief to the unemployed and those endangered of losing their farm or land. I will start a new program called the New Deal : Social Security, heavier taxes on the wealthy, new controls over banks and public utilities, and an enormous work relief program for the unemployed. I will also try to get unemployment down to 2%. I will make a act called good neighbor policy where i will take american forces out of latin country and we will respect their sovereignty

Donnie: Good evening everyone, this is WKBA News Channel at 5. Today, we are here with an interesting story. We found a script for what seems to be an old-timey political ad from roughly the 1836 election. It was for a Mr Daniel Webster and it seems like it was supposed to be acted out in a play of sorts. Today, we are going to act it out with my friend here.
Brayden: Hello.
Donnie: And here we go.
Brayden: So, you'll be playing the part of Daniel Webster, correct?
Donnie: Yes.
Brayden: Alright, let's start. So, Mr Webster, I've heard a quote, "Liberty! liberty!' Pho! Let Mr. Webster for decency's sakes shut his lips for once and forever in this word. With the word 'liberty' in the mouth of Mr. Webster sounds like the word 'love' in the mouth of a cartesian."  This is from Ralph Waldo. What do you think of this quote?
Donnie: Quite honestly, I think he's a charlatan. There aren't many things I can say without ruining my reputation but that's the short of it.
Brayden: ...alright.
Donnie: More might come later if he persists with this accusation.
Brayden: Who do you think is your biggest opponent?
Donnie: I'd have to say Mr Van Burren. He's an active politician and a half decent man. More than I can say for most of us.
Brayden: What were you doing before you decided to become a candidate?
Donnie: I actually served on the senate and the house of congress.
Brayden: ah, very interesting.
Donnie: Not a charmed life by most standards but...I have to deal with idiots so.
Brayden: Well, everyone who works sometimes has to deal with some kinds of idiots.
